Fernbank Field Trip

On Tuesday, April 12, we are taking a field trip to the Fernbank Museum to see the Mythic Creatures exhibit. Should be great fun! Here's the permission slip in case yours went missing.

**6th Grade**
Today we worked on writing the conclusions for our expository essays. Final drafts are due tomorrow.
Then, we planned out the choice projects we will undertake to teach the class about our upstander or perpetrator. We will work on these tomorrow, Monday, and Tuesday - they are due, ready to present on Wednesday!

HW: Finish final draft of expository essay. Read 30 minutes. Remember - we are re-calculating our average next week :)

**7th Grade**
Today we continued to work on publishing our anthologies. Students are busy writing explanations for the six kinds of figurative language that appear in their anthologies.
All 6 explanations are due by the end of class Monday.
This means we should finish 2 today, 2 tomorrow, and 2 on Monday.

HW: Read 30 minutes. If you haven't finished 2 explanation/analysis paragraphs, do so tonight.
