Fernbank Field Trip

On Tuesday, April 12, we are taking a field trip to the Fernbank Museum to see the Mythic Creatures exhibit. Should be great fun! Here's the permission slip in case yours went missing.

READ!!

Our homework, in 6th and 7th Grade, is to READ in a quiet, dedicated space for 30 minutes (at least 15 pages) each and every night. Students should record the number of pages they read on their Reading Calendar.

Happy weekend all!
Great job presenting this morning 6th grade! Let's keep the excitement going for these new words!

**6th Grade**
Today reviewed our vocab words and looked at some excellent sentences. Then, we chose a piece of work for our portfolios. Then, we did a Europe preview activity where students were imagining what they know about Europe. Finish and color this over the weekend. Lastly we read a chapter of Frindle called "The Big Idea."
Monday we start studying EUROPE!

**7th Grade**
Today we took an assessment on sentence structure.
Then, we started to look at the continent of Africa. We did 8 stations to check out interesting things from around the continent. What a diverse place!
If you didn't give it back today, bring your Messenger book on Monday. Thanks!
