Presentations!

What a wonderful day in 6C! It is always very exciting when students present their work. Today's presentations were especially creative! Based on the books students have been reading in book clubs, today we saw:
  • Dontavius and Diamond read a perspective journal
  • Chermaine read a poem
  • Naima displayed a fashion design
  • Alex T, Zoe, and Skyler screened a film
  • Pedro, Spencer, Hunter, and Samazie debated in a "square table" format - complete with coffee cups and fake mustaches!
  • Ella and Griffin showed off a 3-D model of the Warsaw Ghetto
  • Atlantys, Asa, Kaia, and Alex M demoed their blog. PLEASE visit their blog and vote in their polls!
What a day!
Tomorrow students have a field trip with Mr Aaron for Performing Arts. Therefore, homework will be due Thursday. On Thursday please come prepared with:
  • Pronoun homework
  • Bring your "On the Front Lines" news story - we are going to work on those on Thursday. Please read over it again so it is fresh in your mind and you are ready to start editing!
Enjoy the field trip, see you Thursday for some editing and a few more presentations.
