Fernbank Field Trip

On Tuesday, April 12, we are taking a field trip to the Fernbank Museum to see the Mythic Creatures exhibit. Should be great fun! Here's the permission slip in case yours went missing.

READ!!

Our homework, in 6th and 7th Grade, is to READ in a quiet, dedicated space for 30 minutes (at least 15 pages) each and every night. Students should record the number of pages they read on their Reading Calendar.

**6th Grade**
Today, students spent an hour getting ready for their presentations. Then, we heard wonderful book project/research reports from Cecilia, Lucy, & Kayla; Freedom, Omar, & Octavius; and Alison, Rhiannon, Caprice, & Xavier. Great job all!
The rest of you will present tomorrow. Can't wait!
HW: Read 30 minutes. Tomorrow we will complete our first assignment with this independent reading book.

**7th Grade**
We started off with presentations today. It's been great learning about and seeing visual representations of African History. We will have the last 2 presentations tomorrow and then we will have an assessment on what we learned Friday - so bring your notes!
HW: Read 30 minutes. We will work on a letter essay tomorrow.

    I will most likely be at school tomorrow, unless something suddenly changes. I'm not sure if I will be there the whole day or not but just letting ya know...
