Fernbank Field Trip

On Tuesday, April 12, we are taking a field trip to the Fernbank Museum to see the Mythic Creatures exhibit. Should be great fun! Here's the permission slip in case yours went missing.

READ!!

Our homework, in 6th and 7th Grade, is to READ in a quiet, dedicated space for 30 minutes (at least 15 pages) each and every night. Students should record the number of pages they read on their Reading Calendar.

Presentations TOMORROW!

Today was more project work time. Looking forward to hearing what students have developed when they present tomorrow!
We also voted on where to send money for a fundraiser we are working on for the people of Haiti. Update coming your way tomorrow.
Homework: Finish preparing your presentation. Do you have current events due Friday??

We ended class with a very interesting question from Atlantys. She asked what is happening with the prisoners from Haiti. If most people don't have food or shelter, what happened with the prisoners? How is Haiti being kept safe?
Very interesting question. Wolf bone to any one who comes to class ready to tell us anything they find out about this!
