Fernbank Field Trip

On Tuesday, April 12, we are taking a field trip to the Fernbank Museum to see the Mythic Creatures exhibit. Should be great fun! Here's the permission slip in case yours went missing.

READ!!

Our homework, in 6th and 7th Grade, is to READ in a quiet, dedicated space for 30 minutes (at least 15 pages) each and every night. Students should record the number of pages they read on their Reading Calendar.

Honoring September 11

We spent the day discussing and responding to the events of September 11, 2001. Students had many powerful, moving, and profound comments to make. Thanks to all for thoughtful and active participation in this discussion.
We also introduced our current events reporter format that will stick with us throughout the year. Beginning next week, students will be asked to bring in a news article and their own reporting on it once every two weeks. I look forward to hearing about what students choose to share!
No homework. Happy Birthday Spencer, Go Wolves, and we hope to see all parents at the Low Country Boil!
