Fernbank Field Trip

On Tuesday, April 12, we are taking a field trip to the Fernbank Museum to see the Mythic Creatures exhibit. Should be great fun! Here's the permission slip in case yours went missing.

READ!!

Our homework, in 6th and 7th Grade, is to READ in a quiet, dedicated space for 30 minutes (at least 15 pages) each and every night. Students should record the number of pages they read on their Reading Calendar.

Don't forget - field trip Monday!

**6th Grade**
Today we worked some more on adjectives, specifically this Halloween themed activity.
We also worked on creating maps for our "On the Front Lines" stories and finishing up our publishing. Remember: stories due Wednesday.

Have a wonderful Halloween weekend!

**7th Grade**
We started off with some spooky Halloween imagery.
Then, we read 2 works by Edgar Allan Poe, "Annabel Lee" and "The Lake"
We ended the day working on paragraphs using quotations about our chapter of Home of the Brave.

Have a wonderful Halloween weekend!

  2. I will try SO hard to remember to send Asa home with some stuff for you. You are going to work on a partner poem analysis/read aloud with Fenn. you could get started with the analysis and paragraph - if I remember to give it to Asa.
We are also working on research. You were here Wednesday, right? Remind me your topic and I can send something home with Asa as well.
