This article in this morning's Washington Post reminded me of a conversation we were having in class last week - what about criminals in Haiti? What's happening with the jails?
What do you think? With no court to have a trial in, should the government let the criminals go? Is it ok to hold them with no trial?
What about the 4,000 inmates that escaped from jail after the earthquake? Should the police try to find them - or focus on something else?
